Swap Social

Join the Plastic Wave Project, Social Commune, & Highlands Recreation Center for our 1st Annual Community Clothing Swap!

Did you know that clothing companies create more than 1 million garments every day? The overproduction of these supplies contribute majorly to waste water, plastic pollution, release of carbon emissions, and unethical labor. In honor of Earth Month, we’re shining light on the harmful impacts fast fashion has on the planet and its people by offering a community clothing swap event. Connect with your community and consciously revamp your wardrobe by bringing up to 10 gently used items of clothing, to swap for an item(s) of your choosing! Who doesn’t love finding a unique secondhand gem?

Please join us, in celebrating the beauty and magic of our Mother Earth, while helping to contribute to a more conscious approach to fashion. Why shop when you can swap!

While this is a free event, we ask that you kindly register below.
